Asian America

My name’s David Yuen and I’m a first generation Asian-American who was born and raised in NJ. I’ve been writing for over 10 years and I’m currently a part time freelance writer who’s still in the process of exploring his options.

Asian America is about exploring the Asian American culture with all its faults, strengths, and ironies.  From entertainment to politics and from stereotypes to myth busting, this site explores it all. 

For those of you who are not Asian American feel free to browse—this blog is here to promote awareness for those who might be on the outside looking in.  For all of you who are Asian American feel free to scroll and peak—perhaps you’ll find a reservoir of kindred spirit. 

Asian America is a country with its own borders and divides.  But its flag still flies red, white, and blue.
