Asian American Short Movie: “How To Do The Asian Squat”
This is a short film written and direct by Daniel Hsia. It was released in 2002 and it’s written in the style of a 50’s instructional video. Overall, I never really understood what the Asian squat was and I only had a vague idea of it. But this video really brought it to life…in more ways than one.
Besides being very witty and ingenious, this film portrays an aspect of Asian culture with stylish irreverence.
